Carbon super adsorbent Project

seas contamination  with oil and its derivatives threatens the health of the seas ecosystem  and has destructive effects on vegetation and animal communities. During a short time, oil spills in contact with aquatic animals cause harmful effects. Hence; the purification of water reservoirs from oily contaminants is a necessity . The carbon super adsorbent project is supported by technology development council of WDEE with the aim of designing and manufacturing an absorbent for the separation of oily contaminants from the environment biological and water. This carbon super absorbent is a modified polyurethane foam which absorbs oil completely when applied in a mixture of water and oil.
